How SodaPeak Gummies Work
This page is an educational look at the formulation logic behind SodaPeak Gummies — not a sales pitch. Our goal is to walk through, mechanism by mechanism, why each ingredient category was chosen and what the current research actually says about it.
This product contains 50mg of caffeine per serving. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. See full disclaimer in the footer.
Circulation & Stamina Support
Why Circulation Matters for Everyday Stamina
Healthy circulation is one of the quieter foundations of how capable and energized a person feels throughout the day. When blood flow is working efficiently, oxygen and nutrients reach muscles and tissues more readily — which is part of why circulatory health is such a common target in general wellness formulas. SodaPeak's first functional pillar is built around two botanical extracts with a long history of traditional use in exactly this area: Muira Puama Extract and Catuaba Extract.
Muira Puama Extract: Traditional Use and What the Lab Research Shows
Muira Puama (from the plant Ptychopetalum olacoides) is native to the Brazilian Amazon and has a long history of traditional use as a general tonic. Laboratory research on the extract has examined its anti-fatigue and anti-stress activity in animal models, exploring how it may interact with the body's stress-response pathways. We describe Muira Puama strictly within a circulation-and-stamina framing, consistent with this preliminary evidence — we do not extend the claim beyond what the current research supports.
Catuaba Extract: A Complementary Botanical
Catuaba Extract (from Trichilia catigua) is often paired with Muira Puama in traditional South American formulations, and modern laboratory studies have found the bark extract exhibits antioxidant activity and has been shown to reduce fatigue markers in animal models. As with Muira Puama, our description of Catuaba stays at the level of general circulation and physical stamina support — not a broader or more specific wellness claim.
Putting the Two Together
SodaPeak pairs Muira Puama Extract (200mg) and Catuaba Extract (100mg) as the circulation-and-stamina pillar of the formula. Both ingredients share a similar traditional-use profile and a similar level of laboratory (rather than large-scale human clinical) evidence, which is why we group them together and apply the same conservative framing to both.
Adaptogen & Stress-Response Support
What Is an Adaptogen?
Adaptogens are a category of plant ingredients studied for their traditional role in helping the body manage everyday stress and resist fatigue. They aren't stimulants — instead, they're generally described as helping the body maintain balance (or "homeostasis") when faced with physical or mental stressors. SodaPeak includes two adaptogenic ingredients: Maca Extract and Ashwagandha.
Maca Extract: A Centuries-Old Andean Staple
Maca is a root grown at high altitude in the Peruvian Andes, with a food and tonic-use history dating back centuries in Andean communities. A comprehensive 2024 review of Maca research notes its potential for combating fatigue, among other areas of ongoing scientific interest. In SodaPeak, Maca Extract (100mg) is included specifically for its traditional role in supporting resistance to fatigue and steady daily energy — not as a treatment for any diagnosed condition.
Ashwagandha: The Strongest Clinical Evidence in the Formula
Ashwagandha is one of the most-studied adaptogens available today, and it carries the strongest human clinical evidence of any ingredient in SodaPeak. An 8-week randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study found that participants taking an ashwagandha extract experienced greater reductions in self-reported stress and anxiety scores, along with reductions in morning cortisol, compared to a placebo group. We include 50mg of Ashwagandha per serving specifically to support the body's response to daily stress.
Why This Matters Alongside a Stimulant
Because SodaPeak also contains caffeine (see Mechanism 3 below), we intentionally paired the formula with adaptogens rather than relying on stimulant alone. The idea is to balance the alertness caffeine provides with ingredients studied for supporting the body's stress response — not to stack stimulants without any offsetting ingredients.
Clean Energy via Caffeine & Antioxidants
Exact Caffeine Content: 50mg Per Serving
Each SodaPeak gummy contains 50mg of caffeine — a figure we disclose clearly and consistently across every page of this site, not just in fine print. For reference, that's roughly half of an average 8oz cup of brewed coffee, which typically contains 80–100mg. The FDA has cited up to 400mg of caffeine per day as an amount not generally associated with adverse effects for most healthy adults, which gives useful context for where a single 50mg serving sits.
Green Tea Extract: Antioxidant Support Alongside Caffeine
Rather than relying on caffeine alone, SodaPeak pairs it with 100mg of Green Tea Extract, an antioxidant-rich ingredient studied for its role in supporting metabolism and reducing oxidative stress. Green tea's catechins — particularly EGCG — have been researched extensively for their free-radical-neutralizing activity, which is why we describe this part of the formula as "clean energy": a measured, disclosed stimulant dose paired with antioxidant support, rather than an undisclosed or oversized stimulant blend.
A Note on Stimulant Sensitivity
Because caffeine is an active stimulant, we want to be direct about who should be cautious with it. People who are sensitive to caffeine, pregnant or nursing individuals, and anyone with a heart or blood pressure condition should consult a healthcare professional before adding SodaPeak to their routine — especially if they already consume coffee, tea, energy drinks, or other caffeinated products daily. If you do, factor this 50mg serving into your total daily intake.
Why We Disclose the Exact Number
Many products in this category use vague "energy blend" or "proprietary blend" labeling that obscures how much of an active stimulant a customer is actually taking. SodaPeak lists 50mg of caffeine per serving on the Supplement Facts panel, on the homepage, on this page, and in our FAQ — because we believe disclosure, not a bigger stimulant dose, is what actually earns trust in this category.
Why Ingredient Pairing Matters
A supplement formula is more than the sum of its individual ingredients — how those ingredients are grouped and dosed relative to each other matters too. SodaPeak's six ingredients were organized into three functional pillars (circulation/stamina, adaptogen/stress-response, and clean energy) specifically so that no single mechanism is doing all the work. The two botanical extracts (Muira Puama and Catuaba) are dosed together for a combined circulation-and-stamina effect; the two adaptogens (Maca and Ashwagandha) are included to support the body's stress response independent of the stimulant; and the caffeine-plus-Green-Tea-Extract pairing is designed so the alertness effect is balanced by antioxidant support rather than left as a bare stimulant hit.
We want to be precise about what this rationale is and isn't. It is a formulation logic — a reasoned explanation for why these six ingredients, at these six dosages, were combined. It is not a claim that the combination has itself been studied as a finished formula in human clinical trials. Where a specific ingredient (like Ashwagandha) has strong standalone human evidence, we say so. Where the evidence is preliminary or traditional (like Muira Puama and Catuaba), we say that instead.
This is also why we keep the formula to six disclosed ingredients rather than a longer list of trace additions — every ingredient here has a specific, stated reason for being included, and a specific, disclosed dosage on the Supplement Facts panel.
